Crissi Cole is the Founder and CEO of Penny Finance, a financial education and money management platform now part of Array. She founded Penny in 2020 with a mission to make financial planning accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy.
Prior to Penny, Crissi spent ten years in wealth management at Goldman Sachs in New York City, where she advised and supported high-net-worth clients while simultaneously experiencing the financial challenges facing everyday Americans firsthand. That contrast inspired her to build a platform that delivers the same quality of financial guidance to people living paycheck to paycheck.
Crissi has been recognized as an advocate for financial inclusion, particularly for women and underserved communities. Under her leadership, Penny Finance has been backed by Pivotal Ventures (a Melinda Gates investment company), Kapor Capital, and was selected for Curql Fund's Accelerator Program in 2024.
